Warning: This video contains multiple explosion sounds.
Three years of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.
Three years filled with the sounds of air raid sirens and the blasts of Russian missiles. Three years of Ukrainian resilience and the pursuit of a common goal – a just and lasting peace.
Ukrainians continue to fight for freedom and the right to determine their own future. The sounds of unity, justice, and gratitude must grow louder.
In 1994, Ukraine joined NATO’s Partnership for Peace programme – a historic step that opened a new chapter in European security cooperation.
Over three decades, Ukraine-NATO partnership has evolved into a deep and comprehensive relationship. Ukraine has proven itself as a reliable partner, contributing to European security and stability through joint exercises, missions, and defense reforms.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have achieved unprecedented levels of NATO interoperability and professional excellence. Ukraine’s unique expertise and strategic position make it a valuable partner in maintaining Euro-Atlantic security.
Today, Ukraine produces more advanced weaponry than many global leaders – from drones and artillery to missile systems and armored vehicles.
In 2024, 30% of weapons used by our forces are Ukrainian-made, including 1.6 million domestically produced drones in the past year alone. Our battle-tested innovations are proving their worth daily against Russian equipment.
Ukraine is ready to contribute to transatlantic security by sharing our unique expertise and combat-proven technologies with NATO Allies.
We are deeply grateful for our partners’ military aid. Today, we also welcome investments in Ukraine’s defense industry. Together, we can strengthen global security.
Overnight, Russia launched a massive, coordinated attack against Ukraine using 315 drones and 7 missiles, including two ballistic missiles of North Korean origin. The targets: civilian homes, city infrastructure, and medical facilities. Across Ukraine, including Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro and Chernihiv regions, 13 people were injured.
In Odesa, a missile killed a 59-year-old man and injured at least four others. One strike destroyed the administrative building of an emergency medical station, damaging ambulances and nearby homes. Another hit a maternity hospital – patients and staff were evacuated.
In Kyiv, strikes hit seven districts. Explosions and fires tore through apartment buildings, schools, private homes, and warehouses. At least four people were hospitalized.
Russia’s missiles and Shahed drones speak louder than the world’s calls for peace. The international community must not respond to these Russian strikes with silence, but with action. Peace requires strong pressure – from the U.S., which has the power to restrain Russia; from Europe, which has no alternative but strength.
